Description

Pyramex GL603C5 Cut-Resistant A4 Micro-Foam Nitrile Work Gloves combine a 13-gauge HPPE liner with an oil-absorbing coating for cut resistance and dependable grip. Their tear- and abrasion-resistant construction supports hands-on work, while the black finish helps conceal dirt and grime.

When handling oily materials, wearers benefit from foam nitrile that absorbs oil to improve grip. The additional foam coating acts like a sponge to increase gripping power, pairing controlled handling with the protection of a cut-resistant liner.

Standards

The CE EN388 standard evaluates abrasion, cut, tear, and puncture resistance. Abrasion ratings reflect the cycles required to wear through a sample; circular blade cut ratings reflect the cycles required to cut through a sample at a constant speed. Tear and puncture ratings reflect the force required to tear or pierce a sample, with puncture testing using a standard-sized point.

ANSI cut ratings range from A1 through A9 and are based on the weight required to cut through the material. The GL603C5 has an A4 cut rating.
