Description

Pyramex GL402C5 Poly-Torq Polyurethane Cut-Resistant A4 Gloves combine cut resistance with the grip and dexterity needed for precise handling. A 13-gauge HPPE liner provides cut-resistant construction, while the polyurethane (PU) coating delivers a dependable grip without a sticky feel.

When a task shifts from handling materials to positioning smaller components, wearers benefit from tactile sensitivity that supports controlled movements. The gloves also offer tear and abrasion resistance, with low particulate shedding to help limit loose particles during work.

Standards

The CE EN388 standard evaluates abrasion, cut, tear, and puncture resistance. Abrasion ratings reflect the cycles required to wear through a sample; circular blade cut ratings reflect the cycles required to cut through a sample at a constant speed. Tear and puncture ratings reflect the force required to tear or pierce a sample, with puncture testing using a standard-sized point.

ANSI cut ratings range from A1 through A9 and are based on the weight required to cut through the material. The GL402C5 is listed with an A4 cut rating.
